Khushali Kumar’s collection for WIFW A/W 2011 takes its inspiration from a glamorous woman at her own unique orbit circling around her own imaginary world – a sort of fine actress walking the red carpet with poise and dignity in high styled evening wear.
Hyper decorative high technological textures and unique wedding veil used in the collection perfectly embodies the theme. Exotic bird feathers combined with metal stripes, trimmings and emb
ellishments are purely futuristic. Metal chips of gold, chrome and silver, broken glass effects, metal hangings enhanced appliques on crystalized dresses takes the collection to a unique orbit itself.
The color palette is comprised of chrome, silver, gun metal, bronze, gold, sand, black and blood red. And, the usage of applique tulles, developed metal chipped surface, romantic roughed chiffons , feathered and metallized nets render distinctness to the collection.
