For Autumn Winter 2013 designer Kavita Bhartia presents her collection titled “Hypercraft”, drawing inspiration from the new generation of technology making 3D available to designers and crafts people, using technology to enhance artisan skills to create new classical designs.

Kavita will showcase her collection on Day 3 of ongoing Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, using technologies like laser cuts combined with prints and unusual embroidery techniques. The collection which derives inspiration from artist Michael Eden who used antique form while using digital technology features boxy silhouettes exuding a complete retro look.

The color palette is fresh and wearable with mist green, fiery red, warm yellows, plaster pinks, glowing umber, beiges, blacks and rich off whites while silhouettes have an unusual twist with asymmetric hemmed dresses, low slung & pleated straight leg pants, boxy jackets, tunics with wide rib trims, slouchy sleeves and notched hems.
