The hallowed fashion designer John Galliano, who is now known more for his racist tendencies rather than those magical eccentric designs he created for decades, is back in the spotlight again for wrong reasons.

The designer who was awarded one of France’s highest honors, Chevalier of the Legion of Honor in 2010, is now considered undeserving of the title and thus stripped of it by French Government, owing to his much-hyped conviction for making anti-Semitic slurs last year.

The act of revoking by French President Francois Hollande seems quite inappropriate as the likes of Manuel Noriega; the infamous dictator of Panama still holds the same title.
