AAVVA, the Lebanese and Brazilian contemporary fashion brand by Ahmad Ammar and Vincenzo Visciglia has launched their FW16 Collection called “Enchanted Forest”.

The collection, feminine but mysterious, depicts carefully styled silhouettes and embellishments and is said to be inspired by mysterious imaginary illustrations from Johanna Basford book of Enchanted Forest.

It is an exciting mix of lush forest like colors and the dense construction of layers and neat folds. The collection is further made along the lines of luxurious silk and shimmery organza in rich warm tones adorned with intricate embroidery of bugs, butter flies, peacock feathers and owls masterfully realized in modern use of Swarovski crystals and pearls that evoke feelings of decadence and luxury. The designer duo did reduce their palettes for this collection but while creating a delicate balance of form and color.
