Giorgio Armani continues to support young talent as he is set to host the runway show of Edmund Ooi at his Armani Theatre on January 17th during Milan Men’s’ Fashion Week.
Highlighting the fact that the Malaysian-born fashion designer, who is based in Belgium now was only 19 years old when he received the Best Avant-Garde Designer award. After being trained at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Edmund Ooi went to work alongside Romain Kremer at Mugler in Paris. “The initiative to support the new generation of designers, which started a few seasons ago, continues to excite me because I concretely see the results and I try to keep an international perspective,” Armani said.
