Inspired by the Victorian era, Anushree will showcase delicate embroideries, lace and floral prints, an archetype of that era, at Lakme Fashion Week SR13.

She has blended Vintage Flamboyant Flora fused with age-old Hyderabadi zardozi to recreate the romantic old world charm.Traditional hyderabadi zardozi embroidery on fluid fabrics like chiffons, georgettes, and nets, done by the most skilled karigars, for whom the craft is an ancestral job carried forward from the Nizam era.

The design philosophy lies in creating elaborate silhouettes brewed with subtle prints, surprising embellishments along with passionate attention to detail. With a color palette ranging from pastel and soft tones of nudes, to peaches, vintage rose pink and beige moving into brighter tones likes shaded yellow, fuchsia pink and jewel tones. A drift of pastels with an allusion of antique royalty is plunged into a burst of flora to present the dreamy vintage princess this summer.
