Pernia Qureshi, the well known Indian celebrity stylist and costume designer styles India’s first fashion film titled, After Hours. The film is directed by Karan Boolani and hair and make-up is in collaboration with Angelina Joseph.
The film released on 18th May is a short film & was created to capture the experience and luxurious personal styling of Pernia. Here, she curates her own version of an eclectic night in New Delhi. The story circles around an intimate evening, with a fabulous host, his elegant friends and particularly mysterious guest, who turns out to be quite an enigma.
The film invokes confidence, individuality, glamour and intrigue. For this magical soiree Pernia developed a distinct mix of personas by combining models with her own friends.
Whilst keeping true to their personal styles, Pernia enhances and reinterprets their looks. She achieved this not just by wardrobe but with hair styling, make-up and accessories. For her, this ‘expression’ is a way of life.
