Based in Delhi, Yogesh Chaudhary did his graduation from NIFT, Delhi and his masters from NID, Ahmedabad. He has carved a niche for himself by his new age designs for women. He has awards like ‘Emerging Designer’ and the Supreme Award into his credit.
His label ‘Surendri’ launched in 2012 epitomizes a woman’s desire for the raw expression of sensuality with exquisite of utilization of luxurious fabrics and feminine cuts. The label’s forte lies in the mélange of patterns and draping to enhance the contemporary look. The brand’s collection features Indian prints on western silhouettes and elegant costume jewellery.
The designer has showcased his collections at Lakme Fashion Week, Van Heusen Men’s Week and Wow museum in Nelson and New Zealand and his clientele includes actresses like Chitrangada Singh, Priyanaka Chopra, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Kapoor, Sonal Chauhan, Sonakshi Sinha and Esha Gupta to name a few.
Yogesh’s designs are currently available at Ogaan and Twist in Delhi, Bombay Electric, Chamomile and Atosa in Mumbai, Nautanky in Ahmedabad, Aura in Nagpur, Rudraksh in Pune and Aashni in London.
