Crafting contemporary art out of hand woven traditional fabric is the trademark of this Madhya Pradesh born designer Vaishali Shadangule. This small town girl after pursuing her degree in computer science from Bhopal realized the hidden creativity present in her and chooses to open a boutique in Mumbai. It was a small venture for which she opted for a debt of rs.50000.

She later completed her post graduation in fashion designing from Delhi and came up with her own flagship store in Mumbai. The designer’s dedication led her work and studies go in chorus simultaneously in spite of the hurdles she faced.

Her label brings out a modern approach with an ease blended with the ethnic touch. Shadangule has certified her label and designs to the retail houses. Inspired by her own memories and experiences, the designer launched her array of couture, Virus free for the Summer Resort collection at the Lakme Fashion Week 2011. Her collection was even showcased for the festive winter 2011 at the Lakme Fashion Week. Her art is a reproduction of her subconscious mind which revolves around unpredictability, randomness, and layers of experiences. Vaishali believes in drawing all her emotions in a very simple and friendly manner in her garments without replicating any of her estimations in any of the motifs.

She drives motivation from her instinct and the occasions she has come over and this inspiration helps her to opt for her silhouettes, fabric, cuts, and the tinge for her garments.

She posses her flagship store Vaishalis at Juhu, Mumbai from where she operates her retail across the country. And after Mumbai the designer is all set to come up with a new store in Gurgaon, Delhi.
