This Delhi based designer is a graduate from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore, who launched her eponymous label in 2012. With her personal fondness for vintage fashion and cultural love, the designer comes up with a fresh and edgy approach for every season. Believing in saturated sophistication and innovation, the designer’s creativity lies in her art of producing timeless designs.
Speaking of her earlier years, Surbhi possesses a well-defined experience of working with fashion labels like 11.11 by CellDSGN for two years. She left the brand after achieving the post of a head designer and progressed further to work with Endymion Exports for the following two years. Having received sufficient amount of exposure and gearing up her personal skills to an unprecedented extent, the designer decided to go solo wherein, ‘SURBHI SHEKHAR’ took birth.
However, giving crucial attention to minute detailing and silhouettes, the designer is known to create feminine designs which take ones into a whole new journey of elegance and comfort. Besides, she now looks forward to marking the milestone of her career by participating at the forth coming Lakme Fashion Week, which will help her to promote her creations and her namesake label to a wider audience and compete with the fashion giants of the industry.
