Better half of renowned designer Rajesh Pratap singh, Payal Pratap is a modern, independent woman, yet deeply rooted in tradition at the same time. A design graduate from NIFT Delhi in 1994, she worked in the industry for six years before joining her husband and assisting him.Her label ‘Payal Pratap’ launched in 2010 is known for its timeless elegance and rustic exuberance. It is created for the women who love their western clothes but will never remove Indian clothes from their wardrobe. It is a modern Indian line, rich in colors, texture, patchwork, borders and embroidery. Her signature store in Delhi’s Lodi Colony features elegant clothes, shoes and accessories.
Her designs are graced by celebrities like Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. Payal Pratap has been showcasing her collections at Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week and was the runner up at the Vogue Fashion Fund 2012.
Her creations retails from Ogaan, and Emporio in Delhi, Azmi, Ogaan and Colaba in Mumbai, Evoluzione in Bangalore and Elahe in Hyderabad.
