This designer feels passionate for hand embroidery and describes her brand ‘Mirage Paris’ as a luxury label with Indian roots. She graduated in Fashion Textile Designing from the University of Arts, London. She also pursued training with Ecole Lesage in Paris, which handles embroidery for Chanel in Paris. She also possesses a degree in Business Administration from De Montfort University in UK.
Besides her commendable professional qualification, through her label, the designer purports to fill the gap between traditional Indian craftsmanship and sophisticated French design aesthetics.
Her earlier experiences include working under renowned designers like Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla from India and Sophia Malig from London. She made a grand debut and a glorified public appearance at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2014. She launched her label at the same platform and enthralled the onlookers with her collection titled ‘Serenity’.
She now retails her collection through Mirage Design Studio SAS in France and through a designer store in Mumbai.
