Mumbai based designer, Nimish Shah is a graduate in Product Design and Development from London College of Fashion. His stints of work experience at fashion houses like Chloe and Burberry and retailers like Browns and Jigsaw, continued to influence his work. He has been honoured with Best Debut Designer Award in 2010 and Young Designer Award in 2011.
His label ‘Shift’ launched in 2010, stands out for its classic and sophisticated women wear collection in materials including organic cotton, khadi, wool and silk, with footwear in minimalist platform heel in burgundy, black and brown. Classic design expertly blended with offbeat detailing and exquisite prints is another key feature of his label. His designer studio is located at Mira Road in Mumbai.
Nimish has showcased his collections at Lakme Fashion Week and his designs have been graced by celebrities like Kalki Koechlin, Asin Thottumkal, Kiran Rao and Sabina Chopra.
His creations are available at Ensemble in Delhi, Le Mill, Creo and Atosa in Mumbai.
