Born in Bihar and a graduate NIFT, Bangalore, Govind Kumar Singh’s unending passion and dedication for designing made him climb the ladder of success. He has won many accolades like Emerging Debut Designer, Best Prêt Designer Award and Most Creative and Innovative Designer Award.
In 2010, he went on to launch his eponymous label ‘Govind Kumar Singh. The label focuses on glamorous and intricately constructed clothes in the prêt, diffusion and couture categories. The ensembles can wore to any occasion whether it’s a cocktail party or a wedding ceremony.
The designer has showcased his collections at Wills India Fashion Week and Represented India in Indo – Swiss Fashion Show and at Festival of India in Amsterdam, Holland. His clientele includes celebrities like Neha Dhupia, Chitrangda Singh, Prachi Daisai and Nicole Pharia. His designs are retailing from well-known Multi Designer stores in India and his couture salon in Bangalore.
