Versace opened its flagship store in Ginza, Japan. Versace Ginza store becomes the main enclosure subsequent to Versus Versace and Versace Home. Japan’s first road surface store for the brand by artistic director Donatella Versace is conceptualized by the British architect Jamie Fobert.

It consists of sleek marble, mosaic tile reminiscent of Byzantine style of the 19th century, acrylic, and of course Brass metal.  Upon opening the road surface store which is a brand symbol, Donatella Versace says, “The new store of Versace pays tribute to the cultural heritage of Italy, as it makes a space for Habatakeru the spirit of the nascent Versace. This new boutique is our past and future, for me and Jamie Fobert,”.
