Graced by a majestic white backdrop, Priya Sachdev Chatwal & Charu Sachdev unveiled the Stella McCartney Spring Summer 2011 Collection in an extravagant fashion show at ‘Kitsch’ in Mumbai.

The show which recreated the panache of the famed Milan Fashion Week took off as the models strutted out confidently in masculine tailored silhouettes in fresh pastels. On display were delicate colour palette and diverse outfits consisting of jackets, trousers, coats and accessories.

Stella McCartney SS 2011 consists of straight cut jackets with cigarette sleeves paired with buttoned-up polos and flat-fronted, high-waisted cropped trousers with a kick. A polo shirt dress in fully-fashioned knit and a chambray shirt worn with navy blue slub silk trousers creates the illusion of denim. Floral patterned pleated silk dresses and Light jersey knit dresses in playful splashes of prints. Piquet structured blazers in wool and mohair and sleeveless trench coat are the highlights.

Speaking on the unique collection, Priya Sachdev Chatwal, C.O.O of Kitsch, said, “The Stella McCartney summer look this year is all about the fresh chic with a perfect mixture of colour, fabric and geometry.”
