Felipe Oliveira Baptista, LACOSTE’s Artistic Director explores the company’s archives and adapts the brand’s DNA to present an inspired cutting-edge sportswear wardrobe with a distinctly urban feel.

Other than the collection’s sharp and sporty line with tapered legs allowing for weightless layering, large egg-like parkas enjoy a loser, rounder fall. In the same vein, the lose knitwear multiplies textural effects with androgynous subtlety, adds volume and relief to both the men’s and women’s looks. As a tribute to the 30s, a trompe-l’oeil tweed print appears on silk or wool voile.

This season, Baptista relies on a neutral colour palette: blues, winter whites and pearl greys vary in intensity and tone, going from medium to dark. Elegance is found in the alliance of navy and caramel, while energy is transmitted through the vibrant remix of French classic: blue, white and red.
