International high street label Dorothy Perkins launched in India at the ongoing Lakme fashion Week. Taking inspiration from London’s fashion scene, Dorothy Perkins Spring Summer 2014 (SS14) collection showcased styles inspired by delicate pastels, sorbet hued laces, tapestry florals and tropical prints. The line uses smart separates, chic accessories and a collection of shoes that are great for taking the look from day to night.
Ace fashion designer and stylist Aki Narula styled the models, simplicity was key as models sashayed down the runway in refreshing London fashion style in shades of pastels and monochromes. Starting with super skinny jeans along with an array of playful bikinis, playsuits and jumpsuits perfect for holidays, the show had many more easy-to-wear styles for the woman on-the-go.
