A supple interpretation of Gucci’s distinctive stirrup-shaped handbag, the Soft Stirrup Bag, is the latest offering by the Italian house of luxury.
The new classic echoing Gucci’s riding heritage while complementing the brand’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection, features contemporary soft silhouettes and a spur as hardware. Inspired by a rigid frame style from 1975, this new design boasts a highly functional, deconstructed shape whereas the iconic spur detail embellishes the top closure of the bag and smaller spurs decorate the handles, with finishes that range from brass to antique silver and light gold.
The bag is available in luxurious materials such as washed calfskin and nubuck both lined in either natural GG linen or leather, as well as exotic skins like python, ostrich and crocodile, all with suede lining. The color palette is comprised of black, light grey, medium brown, deep carmine and cocoa.
