U.S chain retailer Barneys New York is supporting the UN’s International Day of the Girl with a social media and in store campaign to help raise awareness of the issues surrounding girls from October 11 to October 14.

Barneys collaborated with The Girls Lounge for the campaign, and is asking women to complete sentence “Anything is possible when…” before taking a picture and uploading it to social media with the hashtag #GirlPossible. The windows will feature a digital slide show of the answers received from the crowd.

The retailer will also represent Let Girls Learn, a government initiative launched by President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at their windows. The individual stories of women and girls will be highlighted on Barneys’ lifestyle and editorial site at thewindow.barneys.com.
