A parson graduate and a budding designer Tze Goh devised an absolute bizarre showcase of his assortments at the 2012 Spring Summer collection during the most coveted London Fashion Week. While the other designers were busy hitting the runway with their range, Tze Goh presented his exclusive collection in the form of a movie. The designer with an attempt to do something unique and perceive his designs not only to the buyers and the fashion fraternity but in front of the entire world through this movie.
Mused on the Scandinavian glassware, aerodynamics and archetypal menswear’s his collection focused a storyline. Even the movie projected by the designer showcased a touch of the signature mechanism of Ingmar Bergman, the prominent Swedish director. His collection emphasizes clear cuts, stringent and unadulterated color palette and most importantly the sharp features. The movie centered a complete ironic collection as sagacity of calmness and romance was fused with vigor and stance. Beige, white and black aerodynamics of airplanes was infused in the designer’s spring summer collection without losing the ease signature essence of his style. Though the range was inspired by traditional men’s couture but each silhouette signified feminity.
The movie by Tze projected an interesting tale of two twin sisters’ who are trying to correlate, while one trying to whisper something into the ears of another. But what the sister spells in the ears of her twin remains a mystery as no one comes to know whether it was an apology or a clandestine or anything poignant.
A variation has been portrayed everywhere in the movie starting from the characters to the color palette used for the couture’s and even incase of the background. Unadorned background centering one of the sisters entering the granular milieu and suddenly but very elegantly smudging in along with the backdrop without any other sound apart from the cadenced classical composition buzzing throughout the movie takes the viewers to some other state of mind. A very mystical and alluring approach is being identified in the movie. Hard lights are used to accentuate the characters flaunting Tze Goh’s collection.
The film displayed collection comprising of knit wears blended in linen sporting gazer lined collars along with 3D minis along with various other sharp motifs inducing structural quietness. The movie illustrating all fashion is a must to watch.
