If there is a designer in fashion frat hogging all limelight these days, its Stella McCartney – topping Google’s annual zeitgeist list under trending fashion labels.

The designer who is known for her dedication to everything ethical is the most searched name of fashion on Google in year 2012. Stella who was recently honored with best Designer of the Year award at British Fashion Awards beat the likes Karl Lagerfeld and Burberry to be the most searched name on Google in UK.

In people category it was Whitney Houston, to be followed by Kate Middleton, who trended the Google’s list in 2012.
