March 2012 will experience one of the most awaited exhibitions by the two top labels. Louis Vuitton’s retrospective work by designer Marc Jacobs will be centered at the Les Arts Décoratifs located in Paris from 9th of the March and will continue till 16th of September.
The exhibition will put on display the feted work of Jacobs created for the label during their 15 years of alignment. It was1977 when Marc first entered the Louis Vuitton domicile. Along with their fused creation, both the ace’s Jacobs and Louis Vuitton will also line up their independent creation for the exposition. The 158 year old French fashion abode, Louis Vuitton will be drawing spotlight on its conventional formulaic style along with the contemporary epics by Jacobs. The exhibition will be spread over two floors, each floor allocated for one individual theme, the 19th Century industrial uprising and the globalization of the existing fashion market.
Pamela Golbin, one of the major fashion writer and lecturer will head the exhibition at Les Arts Décoratifs.
