When it comes to Louis Vuitton expect the unexpected wrapped in glitzy layers of classiness. All driven to create things distingue the luxury house unveils its new travel collection ‘Object Nomades’ at Art Basel Miami for nomads who prefer to keep the style quotient high while travelling.

Quite a reminder of Louis Vuitton’s love for travel paraphernalia; it’s the same brand which had launched the stylish trunks way back in 1860s – the capsule collection is comprised of 16 unique pieces, conceived by 11 design geniuses from across the world. The collection includes travel desk, eco-friendly travel lamp, Maracatu bag, bag hanger and hammock amongst other stylish accessories.

The various design collaborations to complete this range see big names like famous Campana Brothers of Brazil who have created a limited edition fringed travel bag, all inspired by vibrant music, dance and folk costumes. Other collaboration is with Industrial Designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby – the duo behind the London 2012 Olympic torch. The duo has hand crafted a solar-powered lamp with a leather strap, perfect for those who want to travel in style.

A modish hammock made of the brand’s cognac colored hide is created by Swiss design trio, Atelier Oi while Perrine Desmons turns Louis Vuitton padlock into a convertible hook to hang your bags.
