The third day of the Tokyo Fashion Week kicked off with an exciting amount of curiosity and fervour among the onlookers.

Speaking of fashion labels Noir Fr, Lamarck and Haori De Titi, the atmosphere set by them was mostly quiet and subtle with an underlying expressionism. The former’s looks were replete of eerie evening wear, wherein a saturated amount of metallic finish was employed. Lamarack, however, went comparatively soothing, showcasing yet another evening wear collection, but with pleasant floral prints and easy to wear silhouettes. Haori De Titi’s were the most unique of all, replete of Japanese influences, free flowing silhouettes and a dull simplistic colour palette.

580Up next, the terrific trio of Kidill, Atsushi Nakashima and Johan Ku Gold left an everlasting impact on the third day completely. All the collections were innovative, experimenting yet highly admirable in their own way. Free flowing silhouettes were seen rampant in each and every creation of the above fashion labels. The themes underlying each collection included casual street wear, funky semi-formal wear and elegant evening wear respectively. However, Johan Ku Gold stood outshining among all, specifically because of the use 3D embellishments and a vintage scheme of colours.

580 1Finally, one of the major highlights of the day also included the name of Yoshio Kubo. One of Tokyo’s most in-style fashion designers, Yoshio Kubo showcased a high-tech fabric collection for ready to wear 2015. The looks were entirely dedicated to the cool, funky, flamboyant yet the personality driven man. From cool sweaters youthful jackets and edgy denims to classic hoods, blazers and cardigans, the collection came full circle when it came to men’s styling. Also, on surface stripes along with an unusual use of bright colours remain the highlighting essences of the collection.

Thus concluded day 3 of the Tokyo Fashion Week.
