One of the India’s biggest luxury fashion houses, Kimaya launched bespoke Italian menswear label Via Montenapo at its store in UB City Mall, Bangalore.

The label known for its custom made men’s shirts styled by Milan based designer Francesco Rossi came up with its Spring Summer 2012 collections – the ethnic driven ‘Classic’, the neo-traditional ‘Sporty’ and the epical ‘Luxury’ – all launched through an innovative fashion showcasing seeing male models of Italian and Indian body types sashaying down the elevated granite ramp. The show was directed and hosted by ace choreographer, Prasad Bidappa.

About the event, Pradeep Hirani of Kimaya Fashion said, “Bangalore is a city buzzing with life and cosmopolitan crowd, while UB City is one of the most luxurious properties in the country. Together it is a win-win for the Kimaya store in Bangalore. The men in Bangalore are extremely fashion conscious and have the taste to spend on the finer things in life. Most of them accompany the women patrons at Kimaya and we have always been flooded with requests to cater to the fashion needs of the men too. Via Montenapo is a step in this direction. The philosophy of Cancilini and the brand mix of Kimaya are a perfect fit.”
