    Review

Charu Parashar, titled her collection ‘Immortelle,’ draws inspiration from the victorian glass house and its lush flora and fauna. Immortelle is a French flower, and the collection is rich in floral prints, exudes beauty and the undying spirit of the woman of today, who is confident, bold yet rooted.

Set in tones navy blues, champagne pinks, greens, lilacs the collection denotes purity it is depicted in designers signature prints and her love for ancient Indian craft in meticulously embellished ensembles.

There is a strong play of flora and fauna used on the garments. Rich georgettes silk chiffons tulle create a whimsical fantasy while metallic sequin, hand embroidery with resham , glass biguels, gota-zari and pearls give certain softness.

Silhouettes were kept old yet created newness in Jackets with saris / drape saris / dhotis /capes / halter dresses/Saris with capes n jackets / pleated dresses.
