Fashion historian Jéromine Savignon curated an exciting new tome on designer Yves Saint Laurent couture collections, titled ‘Yves Saint Laurent’s Studio-Mirror and Secrets’.
The book is published by Actes Sud and is available in English and French. One can find 40 unreleased images, from photographers Marc Riboud, Jeanloup Sieff and François-Marie Banier, including sketches and photographs of the designer at work in various studios and some awe-inspiring quotes from the designer Pierre Bergé.
With some alluding graphical representations and natural images behind the production of some excellent collections, Jéromine has divided the designer’s creations process into five acts which display the underlying perfection and unsaid brilliance.
Well, the book is surely going to be a never-experienced-before insight to the Yves Saint Laurent world of fashion and magnificence.
