She specializes in creating fusion of Rajasthani traditional art and modern designs forming a timeless elegance.

In 1998 she created her own label ‘Aruna singh’. The brand’s forte is a fusion of traditional art including hand and screen block printing, gota-patti, aari, and now works for promotion of hand woven khadi fabric both cotton and woolen.

The designer has showcased her collections at various her collections in Jaipur International Fashion Week, Punjab International Fashion Week, Chennai International Fashion Week and Wills India Fashion Week. Her designs are currently retailing from her design studio ‘Jaipur Khazan’ in Rajasthan.

Born on November 28, 1976 in Kerala, Anand Jon graduated from Institute of Fort Lauderdale and later from Parsons The New School for Design. He did his internship with famous designer Donna Karan.

In 1998, he launched spring 99 debut collection ‘Amazone’ inspired by the trinity of Shakti: Goddess culture and fall 99 ‘Arcane’. He was famous for embroideries on skirts, pants and dresses and a new crop of leather looks with crystal details. In later years he was joined by his sister Sanjana Jon for a new jewellery line.

In 2007, he was rated as hottest new designers and he appeared as a celebrity judge on “America’s Next Top Model”. The Consul General of India, Mrs Shashi Tripathi at a press conference introduced Anand Jon as one of the outstanding cultural ambassadors of India.

Anand Jon was among selected designers at the NYC 2000 fashion show on Times Square. He is known for his on 2006 MTV Movie Awards, 40 Most Awesomely Bad Dirrty Songs, Ever and America’s Next Top Model. His designs attracted prominent names like Nadja Swarovski, Lynn Whitfield & Susan Lucci, musician Alanis Morrisette, Mary J Blige, Mya, Ananda Lewis and Courtney Love to name a few.

In 2008, unfortunately the talented designer faced 49 legal charges that included allegations of rape, drugging and mafia death threats. Sex assault allegations against Alexander began surfacing in 2007 from California, Los Angeles, Texas and New York. Later a court in Los Angeles sentenced him to jail for 59 after finding him guilty. His sister is still fighting for his justice, as she believes he is innocent.

His memorable last fashion show was Anand Jon W/ Paris Hilton where celebrated Hollywood actress Paris Hilton wore his stunning designs.

Sanjana Jon started her career working with her brother Anand Jon in New York and they created a jewelry line together. She is winner of innumerable awards including Karamveer Puraskar, Paramveer Award and Indira Gandhi Award to name a few. Sanjana Jon has masters in psychology and sociology, as also fashion merchandising, marketing and fashion photography.

Her label eponymous label ‘Sanjana Jon’ is known for its bridal trousseaus and collection for working women and ‘pret line’. The brand has earned international acclaim for its exotic designs made for modern woman.

The designer has showcased her collection at Lakme Fashion Weeks, Wills India Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week and Vancouver Fashion Week. Her designs have been graced by celebrities like Sushmita Sen, Raima and Rimi Sen to name a few. Her creations are available at her flagship store in Delhi.

She is a renowned model, a fashion designer and a fitness expert as well. Armed with a diploma in fashion from the JD Institute of Fashion Technology in Hyderabad, Shilpa Reddy pursued a degree in fashion designing and merchandising Academy of Design, Toronto.

She launched her lable ‘Shilpa Reddy’ in 2011. There is a diligent use of zippers, gold buttons and the structured outfits come with collars and pockets in the label’s collection. The brand’s designs are elegant, modern yet traditional at the same time. The label is known for its sophisticated garments made with use of luxurious fabrics.

The designer has showcased her collections at Lakme Fashion Week and many other platforms in India. Her designs have been graced by names like Sushmita Sen, Shreya Saran and Tapsee Pannu to name a few. Her outfits are available at Amara in Mumbai and Kimaya in Mumbai, Delhi and Lucknow. Born in Bihar and a graduate NIFT, Bangalore, Govind Kumar Singh’s unending passion and dedication for designing made him climb the ladder of success. He has won many accolades like Emerging Debut Designer, Best Prêt Designer Award and Most Creative and Innovative Designer Award.

In 2010, he went on to launch his eponymous label ‘Govind Kumar Singh. The label focuses on glamorous and intricately constructed clothes in the prêt, diffusion and couture categories. The ensembles can wore to any occasion whether it’s a cocktail party or a wedding ceremony.

The designer has showcased his collections at Wills India Fashion Week and Represented India in Indo – Swiss Fashion Show and at Festival of India in Amsterdam, Holland. 27 year old, Sneha Arora graduated from NIFT Kolkata. She started off her career in fashion as an assistant designer in a retail firm and introduced lifestyle product line of cushions and wall frames called Copy Cat. Sneha believes that for a designer who derives inspiration from various sources, the challenge is to create something which is rare and out of the ordinary.

In 2011, she launched her eponymous label ‘Sneha Arora’. The label addresses its clothes to young inspiring, self-dependent women. The brand’s collection is combination of classic bodies with avante- garde detailing, structure with flowy drapes, and modernity with a vintage twist.

She has been showcasing her collections at Lakme Fashion Week and has won awards Grazia Young fashion Awards for her collection. Her designs are currently retailing from all leading multi-designer stores in India and Aashni and Co. in London.

The duo after graduating from NIFT, Bangalore, shifted to Delhi and worked with several designers. Pranav Mishra and Shyma Shetty believes in giving give the utmost importance to fit, fall and finish, creating garments that are futuristic yet mature and wearable.

In 2011 they started their own label ‘Huemn’. The label brings international fashion and traditional tribal embroidery together in an amalgamation of contemporary aesthetics and strong technical know-how. The label’s sensibilities are based on the idea of minimizing elements in garments, making them uncomplicated and easily wearable.

The designers have showcased their collection at Lakme Fashion Week and have done various exhibitions in India. Their designs have been graced by celebrities like Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Sameera Reddy and Vidya Balan to name a few.

Their designs are currently retailing from premium stores across the country and they also do made-to-measure garments at their flagship store in New Delhi.

Delhi based, Ridhi Mehra is a young budding designer with a vision to carve a niche for her in the Indian fashion industry. She studied Business Management from Nottingham, England followed by course in Fashion Design at the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi.

In 2011, she started designing under her label ‘Ridhi Mehra’. The brand defines a clear love for vintage, imbibing European influences mixed with traditional Indian aesthetics. Paying tribute to Indian craftsmanship, the label carries intrinsic elements of Parisian and Grecian cultures, clearly evident in its flouncy drapes and silhouettes. The emphasis is on fine tailoring and suave cuts, incorporating traditional Indian embroideries, finally embellished in a refined modern approach. The label exhibits a mix of contemporary fabrics, and a vivid color palette.

The designer has showcased her collection at Bridal Asia. In short period of time, Ridhi has earned clients like Sonam Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone to name a few. Nimirta born and brought up in Hong Kong made Bangalore her home only after her marriage. Her designs are sophisticated and chic, the focus is on cut, and embellishment is minimal but striking. Her clothes will not fit the body but it is cut in such a way that it accentuates the personality and just falls over you.

Her fascination towards clothes compelled her to start her own label ‘Nimirta Lalwani’. The collection comprises of stunning jewel toned dresses perfect for an elegant cocktail, glamorous red carpet event or a fun girls’ night out. Every piece is designed to embody a softly feminine symmetry and a sense of timelessness. Rich fabrics like satins and chiffons are used with minimal but striking adornment that is synonymous with the foundation of the label. She also designs saris that are not traditional but fusion of Indo-Western.

She has been showcased her collections at Wills India Fashion Week and has done various shows in Hong Kong. Her designs are currently retailing from multi-designers store in India like Zoya, Fuel, Studio Saks, Aza, Chamomile and Ogaan. Internationally her designs are available in Middle East, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. She also has her own design studio in India.

The sisters have been the favourite designers for many young girls looking for their first sari or lehenga as well as their mothers who keep coming back for more. Trupti Bellad- Hermans initially designed tunics, tops & dresses with no formal training in fashion design while her sister Preeti McConkey, studied graphic design at F.I.T, New York.

The label ‘Trupsel’ was started by Trupti in 2003 which was later joined by Preeti in 2009 and further introduced saris and lehenags as an extension to the brand. The label is synonymous with all the vibrant colours of India, embroideries that reflect a deep rooted tradition and yet contemporary, modern day handwriting that is unique in its form and expression. The label is known for its elegance and quality which is available at affordable prices. The collection comprises of panelled saris, lightly embellished lehengas, drape dresses and floor length anarkalis and occasion wear tunics in feminine silhouettes with intricate detailing in a colour palate ranging from deep vermilion, lush jewel tones, soft pastels to neon brights.

The designer duo have been showcasing their designs at prestigious shows like Design One, IMC Women Entrepreneurs and Araaish and various shows in London, New York, LA and Brussels. The duo have earned clients like Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Amrita Puri, Queenie Dhody and Tara Sharma to name a few.
