Jushmi has been interested in Design and Art since she was young. She is a graduate of Fashion Design from NIFT and The Chelsea College of Art and Design, London. Jushmi Barooah has been field of design for more than seven and had exposure to international expression of art and design. She believes that jewellery should be a reflection of your individual flair and style.
Her label ‘Caitanya’ is a Sanskrit expression, meaning consciousness. The label is known for its unique, avant-garde designs teamed with fresh and vibrant assortment of colours. Caitanya works with gemstones like the cool citrines, lustrous amethyst, onyx, quartz and sterling silver. The brand uses 100% recycled silver and recycled wood blocks.
She has showcased her collections at Wills India Fashion Week, Hongkong Gem and Jewellery Fair 2010 and Japan Jewellery Fair 2011. Her designs are available at Bombay Electric, Ffolio, Atosa, Pret Amoda and Sacha’s Shop to name a few. Internationally the label is available in East Asia and US.

Pune based designer, Karishma Shahani Khan is a fashion graduate from the prestigious London College of Fashion and believes in keeping everything organic, real and vivid. She has awards like Best Surface Textiles and Fashion Graduate of the Year into her credit.
Based in Mumbai, Sonya Vajifdar is one of the most I aspiring fashion designers of India and has already established herself at the age of 24. After school she started modeling with Elite model management, as well as worked backstage. Graduate of fashion and textile design from Milan, she worked with French company Estele and is the only Indian designer who has come up with high fashion rainwear collection.
The designer’s work is synonymous with exquisite, timeless bridal couture, glamour and evening wear. Kimmi’s shimmering creations have delighted numerous clients worldwide.
Her design philosophy is predominantly western, which includes adding modern detailing even to the Indian wear she creates. After completing her graduation from NIFT, Tahera Peeran developed her pattern making skills by working with Thai Designs in Bangalore and interned with Lecoanet Hemant. She also won an award for excellence in fashion design.
She looks for perfection and her interests lay in exploring her cultural background, the various handicrafts found in the remote parts of India. Jelin George did her graduation from NIFT and London college of Fashion and got trained under the London based designer Roksanda Illincic.
Working on the motto that less is better, she prefers not to repeat designs, instead focuses on making each piece a stellar creation with intricate detailing. Educated in the United Kingdom at Central Saint Martins and at Parsons School Of Design in New York, she started her affair with design at 12 and has never stopped since. Sunaina Puri arrived in Mumbai in 2006 and opened her Colaba studio with her artisans to create her visions.
