The select esoteric group of twelve couturiers, officially recognized by Chambre Syndicale, French fashion’s governing body, is now joined by two more labels Maison Martin Margiela and Alexis Mabille.

The above mention two fashion houses have recently been awarded  haute couture appellation by French fashion’s premier body. Previously, Maison Martin was a correspondent member, and Alexis Mabille, a guest member at the prestigious haute couture showcasing held twice in a year in Paris.

The criteria depend on factors like the size of atelier, biannual collection of at least 35 outfits for both daytime wear and evening wear and made-to-order services and more.

The last year’s Forbes ‘Art & Design’ list acknowledging the creative under-30 young stars of today comes in a renewed form this year replacing design with the style, with emphasis virtuoso young artists who are setting trends, especially in fashion design.

Forbes 30 Under 30 Art & Style list features few of the renowned names of fashion fraternity like Joseph Altuzarra, Alexander Wang, Carly Cushnie & Michelle Ochs and Olsen Twins. The artists making it to the list are selected by a panel of judges lauding them as entrepreneurial, creative and intellectual best of their generation.

Sophia Amoruso of Nasty Gal also finds a place in the list – a fashion retailer with no college degree and a resume limited to sales clerk position at shoe stores. With net worth at $ 250 million, the brand sells inexpensive trendy and vintage-inspired clothes and advertises through social media.

The list also includes the likes of a handbag designer Reece Solomon; a milliner Gigi Burris; and a fashion blogger Leandra Medine, creator of The Man Repeller blog, based on the notion that men don’t understand a swath of women’s fashion.

One of the Charlie’s Angels Drew Barrymore is all set to debut her masstige makeup line for Wal-Mart.

The ex-Lancome girl is launching a cosmetic line titled ‘Flower’ for American retail giant Wal-Mart and has undergone a multi-year agreement with the brand. The actress is said to be coming up with a complete range of 181 pieces packaged in white with rose gold tags. The products include an 80s inspired Ultimate Mascara and BB cream enriched with treatment ingredients.

The luxurious custom made line for mass market will feature the same ingredients that traditional beauty products do have. And for making the line Wal-Mart price friendly the brand will not indulge in influential marketing through extravagant flashy ad campaigns and sales force rather it would bank upon Drew Barrymore’s popularity and Wal-Mart’s reach.

A unique concept of the combination of body massage oil and fragrant spa candles, serving as a soothing massage lotion comes from the Ayurvedic beauty brand Tatha.

The concept works as the fragrant hand-poured body massage candles burn and melt to create healthy body massage oil that can be used to enhance the health of skin. The candle is equally healthy for environment as it emits less soot and toxin than paraffin candles.

All you have to do is to light your candle and wait a few minutes until the wax melts into oil. Pour the massage oil directly onto your skin and begin massaging. The oil will stay emollient and rich for some time and then it absorbs leaving the skin smooth, silky and dewy.

The magical duo of Kate Moss and Mario Testino churns sensual notes again as the model poses for American shoe designer Stuart Weitzman.

The Spring Summer 2013 campaign portraying 38-year-old Kate Moss in her sultry best has been shot by acclaimed photographer Mario Testino. The shoot features her in black and white sensuality with bare long legs adorned by glitzy shimmery high heels. Kate appears wearing high-waisted black briefs with a white men’s shirt and a jacket.

1. Red Lips – If there is one word that majorly describes the trend for spring 2013, then that is red lips! From velvety scarlet, bold corals to vibrant fuchsia, the only way to wear bright lips is in the matte form.

2. Seeing Blue and Green – Dab your make-up brushes in shades of turquoise and vibrant aqua. The look is not supposed to be too wild or extreme for every day wearer. Try a thin streak of green eyeliner or a smear of sapphire or a colour blocking royal blue/teal. To add glamour for the evenings, place a few sparkles around the eyes!

3. Simple proves to be most striking – Fresh, natural skin provides the perfect backdrop for the season’s best looks. Good skincare goes a long way. Put a light primer underneath makeup and dab a highlighter on the high points of your face. Rim your eyes with a glossy lip treatment. Just dab it around the perimeter and finish with properly defined eyebrows and mascara for a lush glow. Light pink blush on the cheeks and shined up lips with clear gloss.

4. Silvery teal over the lids and up to the brows. Lips left soft and almost nude with just a pat of light pink shadow.

5. The eyeliner effect – Ever since the cat eye trend hit last year, eyeliner has become essential. While they can be retro flicked up, there is a new trend, a tight outline, softly smudged. This look can be worn during the day. For the evenings, swipe a platinum shadow over the lids, to create a contrast (similar to Look 4). An easy way, which gives inspiration for how to dress up in a few simple strokes for day to night.

6. Lush Lashes – It’s time to have fun with your lashes, from twiggy lashes to curled and combed lashes with the waterline filled in white.

7. Colour emerges for spring – Pink, in all its permutations makes its mark for the spring 2013.
(i) Magenta coated over the lids and lashes is one look.
(ii) Fuchsia pink, pretty rose shades and girlish shell pink lips.
(iii) Bubblegum pink cheeks and lids.
