The luxurious range is comprised of the models like Rado Integral and Ceramica, exuding timelessness in pristine white, gold and silver dials.
 
The collection is further completed by the pieces embodying classiness and elegance. Rado eSenza, notable for its elliptical form with embedded gemstones perfectly exemplifies the luxury.

With revving up cars, pit lane girls, free flowing champagne and hormonal chaos, India is just a week away to witness the decadence of F1 Grand Prix. In a run up to three long mad days of F1, Mercedes Benz in association with Stylo, a London-based Asian fashion entertainment company staged the Fashion Grand Prix party entitled, ‘Stylo & the 7 deadly sins; Recycling is new black’ at Hype, Mumbai.


One of the most coveted parties amongst the fashionistas in the world celebrated eco- friendly fashion in the smothering F1 mania. The night witnessed handpicking and bringing 300 of its top customers from all over India to this event. Dedicated to spread messages of conservation, the focus was on utilization of wastes presented through a fashion collection.


One of the main highlights of the event was DJ Aqeel coming up with a presentation supported by supermodels turned DJs who are winners and finalists of Ford Supermodels of the World, Malaysia 2011.



Here flutters one more feather in the hat of fashion bellwether, Karl Lagerfeld. The designer is all set to launch his new affordable womenswear label, ‘Karl’ come January next year.

The first of its rock and roll inspired collection consisting of evening and daywear includes pieces like biker jackets, sweat shirts, shirts and dresses. The collection priced between 50 pounds to 400 pounds will be exclusively available on luxury online retailer Net-a-Porter.com.

If the reports are to be believed then the online collection launch will be followed by exclusive ‘Karl’ stores and boutiques.
 
Rendezvous merrymaking was exhibited at the Gallery located on MG road at Gurgaon on the eve of the launch of ICE Accessories store by Radhika Chanana.  A touch of the traditional assorted with the contemporary signifies the designers label.  This is her second launch after the one located in the Crescent Mall.

Chanana’s jewelry store cum boutique is spread over 600 sq ft with wooden flooring and eye catching chandelier to put an additional charm to her art. Along with the splendid interiors the guest list which included actress Dia Mirza, Sahil Sangha, director Zoya Akhtar, designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, Nikhil and Vidushi Mehra, JJ Valaya, Mandira Nath, Tanisha Mohan, Aparna Chandra, Vikram Baidyanath, Pushpanjali Sharma, Cheena Wig, Bharti Bhalla, Anita Bhattal, Amu Saidi, Alpana Gujral, Payal Kapoor, Leena Singh, Gauri and Atul Vohra, Anita Bajaj, Taruna Sharma, Mini Shashtri, Shonali Mathur, Shona Taneja, Karishma and Sandeep Jalani  added more joie de vivre to the launch.



Radhika Chanana on the launch of her store said, “ICE has been a journey of delight. This second store is a dream come true. Designing jewelry is my passion and ICE has allowed me a spectacular platform to showcase creativity, through its sophisticated, glamorous and exquisite jewelry.”

Gaurav Jai Gupta, a member of the FDCI, has won the award for the Most Commercial Collection at the IAF Designer Awards at the 27th International Apparel Federation (IAF) World Apparel Convention 2011, which was held on 15th October in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The objective of the IAF Designer Awards is to invite and encourage prominent Designers from all over the globe and to participate in this prestigious contest. By strengthening the exchange among IAF Member Associations, international fashion design is promoted among the most influential decision makers in the apparel industry.

All IAF Member Associations are invited to participate in this event, by nominating one designer from their country, who represents the country and has been the best in the business for at least 3 years, to take part in the contest.

Gaurav Jai Gupta was the official nomination from India and won the award for his spring summer 2012 collection. He competed with designers from countries like Greece, Colombia, Taiwan, Australia etc.

Congratulating Gaurav, Mr. Sunil Sethi, President FDCI said, “Gaurav has made the Indian fashion fraternity proud by winning the ‘Most Commercial Collection’ award at the IAF. We are delighted that this award has recognized Gaurav’s experiments with handloom and his dedication to hand woven sustainable fashion. On behalf of FDCI, I take immense pride in congratulating the designer for his success which he most earnestly deserves”.

It was a glittering evening as jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali unveiled her new festive jewellery collection Reverie, over wine and canapé while celebrating the first anniversary of her flagship store at Turner Road, Mumbai.

Reverie by Farah Khan Ali is a collection of breathtaking fabulous baubles with enchanting emeralds, stunning sapphires, timeless tanzanite, enigmatic amethysts, dazzling diamonds, pristine pearls and romantic rubies coupled with fascinating fancy cuts. The collection heightens the festive aura of any space, with its play of colours, stones, cuts and placements creating a stunning dimension of confident style and panache.

About the collection Farah says, ‘My style is essentially alive. Each piece I create has a life in its own. I have worked together on a new line for the first anniversary evening where design and color blend together in a breath taking amalgamation.’

The evening saw the crème de la crème of the city appreciating Farah’s designs. The attendees included Sonali Bendre, Malaika Arora Khan, Celina Jaitley, Zarine Khan, Zayed Khan, Suzzane Roshan Khan, Bhavana Pandey, Honey Bhagnani, Ramona Narang, Shonali Shroff, Schauna Chauhan, Nitasha Nanda, Kehkashan Patel, Dharmesh Darshan, Laila Furiturewala, Daboo Ratnani, Meena Rahja, Anna Singh, Annu Dewan and Lata Patel amongst others.
