The super popular flea is back at Olive, Qutub. Each month’s flea will have spotlight on a designer, alongwith bringing forth a great cross section of talent from fashion to photography and also music. This month’s flea brings forth focus on "Lotuspunk" by Ruchika presenting a fashion walk.
Along with it, Cuban Saxophonist Ernesto Camila Vega Perez (Director, Clarinet, Saxo) filling the air with a rhythmic magic. His first album won two awards and he has pariticpated in over 20 international festivals as well.
Lotuspunk’ design philosophy is all about the culmination of ‘punk influences’ with ‘altered shapes of lotus’ creating one-of-kind surreal dresses that can be adorned from season to season. It creates elegant, modern, unfussy clothing for women who yearn to dress differently and yet look for functionality in their attire. The collection is about opposites attract and the combination of opposites is particularly attractive thus the interplay of classic lines and experimental patterns create an exciting tension.
