The IFFD Calendar 2014 , India’s first ever limited edition calendar exploring high end fashion from 14 different designers namely  Manoviraj Khosla, Rajdeep Ranawat, Raakesh Agarwal, Niket & Janee, Manish Gupta, Niharika Pandey, Shantanu mehra, Shivani Singh, Rosy Ahluwalia with Jewellery Designer Kavita, Jenjum Gadi, Nitya Bajaj, Sonia Jethely.

The calendar shot by Vipin Gaur and styled by Aamir Zakir will feature 12 best designs for every month.

For safari-inspired collection, designer Rachel Zoe opted for a fresh golden look.

Hairstylist Antonio Corral Calero created the look with a low, windswept braid made by spraying the hair with Root Boost and brushing it through the hair, then clipping hair into a bulky braid.

Make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury used Dream Fresh BB Cream two shades darker than the models’ skin tone and under eyes she applied Dream Lumi concealer followed up with Color Tattoo shadow in black and Bronze. She went for lipsticks shades like Red Devil, Deepest Cherry and Totally Toffee.

Manicurist Sunshine made nails appear amazing by combining two existing nail colors.

This season of Lakme Fashion Week will see an ethereal combination of designs and silhouettes from their leading designers Ritu Kumar, Payal Singhal, Rocky S, Shruti Sancheti as we caught them during fitting sessions. While Krishna Mehta will be bringing various craft forms and textile traditions of Manipur on the Indian Textile Day, 26th August at the upcoming fashion week.

Inspired by the beauty and grandeur of Rajasthan,Anita Dongre’s latest collection is shot by R Burman at the magnificent Samode Palace in Jaipur with models Jyotsna Chakravarthy and Anuj Choudhary being the faces. The film showcases bridal wear from Anita Dongre’s Timeless label, including some of her signature lehengas with exquisite Gota Patti handwork done by artisans in Jaipur.

From sensuous saris, swirling lehengas, dramatic jackets, to beautiful salwar kameez, the collection is a treasure house of rich Indian traditions with her signature effortless elegance. She has given her Bridal lehengas a twist by using gota patti embroidery paired with crisp raw silk bandi. This gorgeous collection is dominated by Lime Green, Gulabi Pink, Ink Blue and Rose Pink,with accessories from her stunning Pink City jewellery line.

The Indo Fushion line of Anita Dongre Menswear, is classic and elegant, and fit for a prince. Drawing inspiration from Samode Palace, this season’s line consists of unconstructed garments that allow for layering. Crafted from high quality monga silk, heavy linen, brocades, dupioni silk and kheta silk, on offer are kurtas, bandhgalas, dhotis, shirts, trousers and bandis, in shades of beige, maroon, black, navy blue, cement with the inner layering in electric blue, lime green and various other bright colours.

Glimpses of shimmering gold, hues of soft pastels and a whimsical frothiness reminiscent of an era of charm and elegance, is Tarun Tahiliani’s collection for forthcoming India Bridal Fashion Week 2013.

Chelsea Piers, 46 of Parsons’ top graduating fashion design students convened to present their final collections at the annual Parsons Fashion Show. In addition to showing off their hard-earned collections, many of the young designers were also in the running for the “Designer of the Year” titles. At a benefit following the runway show, Harim Jung and Kaye Applewaite were named womenswear designers of the year; Yunxiang Sharon Zhou was named menswear designer of the year; and Diana Woodside was named childrenswear designer of the year.

Having won the North-East Best Designer Award, there has been no looking back for Daniel Syiem. He has been recognized for his unique style and focus on promoting organic and ethnic material exclusive to the North-East region of India. Western Wear being his forte is apparent in the clean silhouettes, seamless fluidity and interesting drapes in his collection. He has collaborated with the weavers of Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya and is aiming to portray Shillong on the fashion map of India for his upcoming show at LFW SR13.

Synonymous with opulence, and with an intention to create glamorous ensembles catering to women’s couture wear with a design philosophy that is distinctly feminine and refined. Sonaakshi Raaj, held her fittings for the forthcoming season of LFW SR13, at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.

By combining tailoring with drapery, the garments are meticulously crafted to styles that are luxurious yet understated with strong emphasis on fabric, cut and colour.

Menswear specialist designer Kunal Rawal is back at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/ Resort 2013 this year after a hiatus. For his Lakmé Fashion Week collection, Kunal draws inspiration from his kharkhana.

The men’s wear specialist designer provided a sneak peak into some of his creation showcasing industrial grunge mixed with luxurious fashion. The shorts, shirts and trousers from his collection feature quirky prints that are yet another important aspect of his collection. He is also designed a range of accessories specially for his show.
