Sonam Kapoor has been in Cannes for the duration of the festival, seen here is an exclusive photo shoot taken from Kenneth Willard’s camera for French makeup giant.

The picture shows Sonam draped in a glamorous black gown flirting with a chef in the kitchen. Sonam’s hair is pulled up in an elegant French twist. The sumptuous Indian actress is also seen frolicking Oceanside with her heels in her hands.

Sonam’s solar beauty is radiant as she struts down the street in a navy Vivienne Westwood gown with a modest slit and a natural look with her hair.

With the passing days at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, the backstage mellowed to bear the sky high bizarre quotient on. The changing themes of the show was originated and complimented by changing moods at backstage. From soaring heels and ready-to-fall head gears to pricking pins, the models kept hurrying around. The makeup teams and choreographers were at the helm of thrill, shouting and running after the models with brushes and concealers.

Amidst all this chaos, Fashionfad lens caught up with Binal Trivedi and Bhawna Sharma helping out each other, Noyonika Chaterjee getting her hair done and designer Manish Malhotra weighing his sari to adjust the drapes.

Here is sneak in to the backstage with the models for the Academy of Art University show at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Keeping makeup and hair simple and stylish is a big trend for Fall 2011 as previewed at the runways. TRESemmé Stylist Team is the official hare care group here. Models buzzed in and out carrying the energy of fashion and beauty forecast for the coming season.

The final day of WIFW S/S 11 kept brewing with the biggies of fashion appearing at backstage. With only eight shows to go models sighed and were found chatting and chilling around after the shows. But still the trademark anxious shrieks and shouts were very much adhere-able before every show. Similarly, the concealers, powders and shadows were all on overdose. The cynosure Shilpa Shetty along with Chitrangdha Singh for Tarun Tahiliani’s magnificent grand finale revved up the fizz factor backstage with everyone peeping and trying to sneak in the green room to get a glimpse of her.

The day 4 at backstage of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2011 mellowed with fashion. The effervescence remained high with buzzing models and maddening hotchpotch. Dramatic slip ups and slip offs made way and kept the ambience all fizzy. Pose and pout commenced and ensued every show backstage. Ironically the ever silent and passive models on ramp kept the green room helluva chaotic with guffaws, capers, natters, kisses and cigarettes. Amidst all this chaos we caught out Ambika Pillai with M.A.C effect and model Nolana D’Mello chilling out besides others.

The countdown to Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Fall 2010 rushed the enthusiasm and excitement at full pelt. Fittings saw the designers and their craftsmen scanning and vying for the nicety. Whereas, models were all engaged in donning, un-donning and re-donning the yet-to-be-revealed apparels. Besides some serious work, the glitterati were in their obvious shutterbug moods – posing for the flashing shutters. Likes of Atul Kasbekar and Sujal Shah were seen all geared up for the event.

The hurly-burly backstage was no different during Day 2, packed with hurrying models and darting make up men. Ambika Pillai and her team with brushes, sprays and combs were busy to turn models in the requisite roles. In the meanwhile the health conscious men always found time out to do their crunches or push-ups instead of worrying about the wines like the female models. We caught in the models like Sahil Shroff, Karan Singh, Niel Katiyan, Lalit and Amit getting the make up done and staring into mirror. The glam light studded as Kunal Kapoor appeared backstage to get a few strokes here and there just before he had to walk for designer Manoviraj Khosla.

Here is the visual gallery of The Making of Sensawunda 2 described by Ritesh Kumar Ridzyn as the sense of wonder, extends his theme for the fall winter 2010/11. Frequently invoked in discussions of science fiction, the “sense of wonder” is an experience unique to the genre. It is an emotional reaction to the reader suddenly confronting, understanding, or seeing a concept anew in the context of new information. And thus we catch him in his sci-fi photo shoot as he nods and style directs the model in his creations which is also a prelude to his fashion showing at the upcoming edition of WIFW Autumn/Winter 2010/11.
