Talking about the collection, he says, I started with four words: Easy, color, comfort and shape. I wanted to create a collection that is easy in the sense of approachability as I want 20- year olds as well as 60-year olds to be wearing it. We’re offering every style in the five colors which comes with clothing- comfort without sloppiness in relaxed and rounded silhouettes being foremost.

Barbara Sanchez-Kane, Mexican menswear designer with a background in industrial engineering, debuts at NYFW Men’s SS18. I think I specialize in menswear because I have a background in engineering — a world with more rigid and stable shapes — what I see in the male body,” says she.

She launched her label Sanchez-Kanein 2015 after graduating with a degree in fashion design from the Polimoda Institute in Florence, Italy. Her Spring/Summer 2016 debut collection, “Courage of the Brave,” was presented during Los Angeles Fashion Week. She also showed as a finalist at VFILES Runway 7 during New York Fashion Week.

Sanchez-Kane draws on her Mexican heritage to create alternate realities, reimagining masculinity in a world where that has become somewhat stringent. Her “Citizen Sanchez-Kane” collection, for examples, aims to create new vision of masculinity— less restricted by today’s perimeters of hyper-masculinity, emasculation and male sensitivities and imagining a world wherein Eve, not Adam, is the first creation.

Couturiers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla will unveil their new couture bridal collection ‘The Shaadi Of The Year’, in Delhi.

From scintillating couture and sumptuous sets and decor to a heady mood and ambience that will transport guests who will find themselves bang in the middle of a Shaadi, full of magic, impossible beauty and celebration.

The collection is a scintillating mix of ranges that together spell absolute Fantasy. Intended for the discerning Bride who seeks distinctive style and ensembles that set her apart. Deeply romantic and decidedly diverse, these ranges feature a fabulous feast of fabrics and techniques. Organza, Silk, Duchess Satin, Georgettes. The silhouettes too embrace the entire spectrum from Indian to Western, short and slinky to voluminous extravagance.

Multiple influences from the majesty of Nature and its Flora and Fauna to the magnificent style, spirit and mood of Paris, the City of Love, inform and infuse this Wedding Collection. Like Love, this Collection knows neither borders nor limits. It is quite simply the Artists’ hearts and creative imagination running wild and free.

Designer Sonaakshi Raj will unveil an exquisite collection of gowns ‘The Empress’ at IIFA 2017 on July 13th in New York as an ode to the royal era.

01

The Empress Collection by Sonaakshi Raaj is Royalty in motion which calls out to those sexy women who are unabashedly edgy, glamorous and feminine. These women are independent and fearless in their attitude. The collection draws its inspiration from a glorious era where each design brings with it a wondrous feeling of being a part of history. Using this as canvas, the line comes together to form a visual extravaganza.

01

Embellished with intricate work in dazzling gold, silver, pearls and beads on flowing silhouettes – The Empress Collection exudes the royal charm of a bygone era albeit with a fresh, modern edge. The always romantic and feminine colours create a neoclassical ambiance reminiscent of a walk in the clouds and into the gilded ages that is the palette of this season’s collection.
