1Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla will present a unique fashion tableau in Mumbai, paying homage to Varanasi, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Also known as Banaras or Kashi, this is a city steeped in legend, mythology, culture and history. It is no wonder that it is the birthplace of a rich and enduring arts and crafts legacy.

Varanasi is also inextricably linked with bridal fashion with the banarasi sari being integral to bridal and trousseau ensembles.  The presentation is designed to transport the audience to this magical place. An elaborate theatrical set that recreates the Ghats finds us on the banks of the Ganges on the night of a full moon.

The collection is designed to showcase the rich legacy of silks, brocades, gold and silver thread work, carpet weaving that the city is renowned for. The palette will reflect the different moods and unique spirit of the city. From the pristine whites that symbolise purity and renunciation to the yellows, saffron and oranges and then onto a riot of Holi hues ending with Vermilion, India’s signature bridal hue, the colour of anointment, of Abhishekam, of Sindoor as the finale.

New York and Amsterdam – Tommy Hilfiger, announces its Fall 2015 global advertising campaign, TEAM HILFIGER. Celebrating its 30th year, Tommy Hilfiger turns classic American football on its head. The goalposts are raised, the yard lines are drawn and everyone comes together for a spirited game of football – all with a modern, fashion-forward twist.

“American football has always been one of my favorite sports and for Fall 2015, we look to the iconic game for inspiration in our advertising campaign and collection,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “As we commemorate our milestone 30th anniversary, we capture all the eclectic details of game day fashion – from athletic stripes to metallic touches and collegiate insignia, all reinvented with our trademark twist that’s irreverent and cool.”

The Fall 2015 campaign centers on the Tommy Hilfiger women’s collections, celebrating the quintessential “Tommy twist,” the campaign is brought to life by football players sporting Hilfiger uniforms who appear in the background, photographed by Craig McDean, styled by Karl Templer and creatively directed by Trey Laird of Laird + Partners.

The campaign which will break worldwide on August 3, 2015, stars supermodel BehatiPrinsloo, who returns as a brand ambassador for the second consecutive season, and it also features a similar cast of eclectic characters from past campaigns: Julia Hafstrom, RJ King and Miles McMillan, with new additions Bruno Fabre, Nate Gill and Simon Nessman. Hair was done by Malcolm Edwards and makeup by Mark Carasquillo.

1Louis Vuitton has announced that it will discontinue famous Takashi Murakami monogram from its collection of bags and accessories.

Previous creative director, Marc Jacobs collaborated with the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami in 2002 and from then Multicolor Monogram became a part of Louis Vuitton’s collections. This collaboration was one of the longest in the history of the brand. Murakami drew a commercial for Louis Vuitton, designed the boutiques and for 13 years produced the collection. The Murakami print was worn by celebrities the world over – with stars including Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson embracing the bright version of the company’s signature monogram.

But new creative director of the brand, Nicolas Ghesquiere seems to be more focused on returning to the classic print for his bag offering, which has led the brand to put an end to the Takashi Murakami monogram.

Mexican Model and TV Presenter Alejandra Espinoza was dressed by Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla gold sequined and embroidered dress at the Univision’s Premios Juventud 2015 in Miami, Florida
