The designer known in the fashion circle for her customized shoe designs Swati was seemed elated on the occasion of the store launch. All thrilled she said, “I am really happy to announce the store opening at Defence Colony as it has been my favourite hangout spot since my childhood days.”

The style brigade of the city made it to the event to lend their support to the designer besides indulging in shopping. The fun-loving girly brand has entered into an exclusive franchise agreement with Brand Marketing India to market and distribute Lipsy branded products in India. Lipsy is one of the UK’s most exciting fashion brands known for it’s on trend clothing and massive celebrity following. The brand is already selling internationally through recently opened franchise stores in the Middle East and commonwealth regions.

About their foray into Indian market, Emma Dobson, Head of International Lipsy, said “This is a key milestone in our international expansion and underscores the international appeal of our brand. Lately, International Apparel Federation announced the names of the nominees for the awards representing their respective countries. Apart from Jatin representing India, there will be Ellie Mucke from Australia, Trista from Mexico, Germany’s Blaenk and SPR+, Claudia Garrido and Pei Yuan Lee from Netherlands, Portugal and Taiwan respectively, staging a catwalk show to present their unique collections.
