This GUESS fall 2009 denim collection is an assortment of fashion clothing an edgy denim-focused collection that merges the character and individuality of the iconic brand, where each style is individually treated with unique washes and embellishments so they can stand on their own and centers around the fall 2009 denim line, portraying GUESS in a raw, urban manner.

For the Girls, GUESS has brought the Distressed and embellished jeans to be paired with a combination of romantic, ruffle front tops as well as rocker tees and grungy plaid button downs, showing that whatever your GUESS style preference is, it will be one of glamour. Whereas for men, rich leather pieces are juxtaposed with destroyed jeans, drilling the rock image that GUESS men’s has come to be known for.

A dainty treat, the jewellery collection by Bina Goenka is a combined accomplishment of exceptional quality craftsmanship with contemporary appeal and a vibrant design direction. The pieces carefully steer clear of past cameos experimenting with the medium to create futuristic designs. Every piece is painstakingly handcrafted and the stones used are carefully selected as per the inspirational flow required. The collection is majorly inspired by nature, Bina Goenka believes, “design is present everywhere, inspiration can be drawn from the smallest of detail present in one’s environment.”

The exquisite work of design looks far beyond the white translucent sheen of diamonds to combine with a burst of colours from the hues of coloured stones. As the designer says, “I find it more exciting and less limiting than only diamond jewellery. We have an all white collection, all green collection, all red collection and mixed color collection. We also work with various natural colored diamonds and large sized stones imported from abroad.” The collection has a radical range of necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants, full bridal sets(including mangtika and bajubandh), and various accessories to choose from.

Bina Goenka, the Mumbai based jewellery designer presented a very profuse preview of this signature jewellery line at a private viewing through a two day long exhibition at The Imperial, New Delhi from the 8th to 9th of October,2009. Parineeta Sethi & Ammu Saidi hosted a lunch for Bina Goenka and selective Delhi women to celebrate her presence in Delhi. Rohit Bal is the Wills Lifestyle Grand Finale designer
Rohit Bal, is the grand finale designer for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2010. The Internationally acclaimed designer has been the pioneer and directional force to the Indian fashion industry and is also celebrating 19 years of his label. He showcased three designs from his collection as a prelude to the big show.


Rohit Bal, announced on the occasion ‘Yasas,’ (a sanskrit word synonym to glory) as the theme for his grand finale collection. The designer interprets the glorious past of Indian cultural heritage and the days when

Charu Parashar Bridal Couture Preview
The restaurant FIO at the Garden of Five Senses, Delhi became the abode of unmatched luxury and epitome of feminine beauty as Charu Parashar previewed her Bridal collection on the eve of 5th October, 2009. She is one the young designers that Ultimate Luxury Weddings is promoting at its wedding showcase later this year.


Charu weaves romance and power for the contemporary women and the collection itself blushes with love of wedding bells. Indian traditional treasure and handcrafted heirlooms compliment the collection, the added sparkle comes from the use of semi precious stones and Swarovski elements.  The silhouettes have been kept overtly modern and stylish with tapered fish net skirts and tube tops for the sensual bride. Yards of brightly coloured chiffon and silk with meticulous patch work brings out the essence in each design with colours of sunshine yellow, aubergine, lime green and plush pink.
