Growing up, I lived in Goa with my parents and younger brother. After school, I studied Audio Engineering in Chennai and then worked in Bombay as a Sound engineer for 2 years. Great job, I loved it a lot.

How you bumped into your first assignment?
I went to a party that happened to be a casting event held by Elite. They called me back after that. I said yes!

What did you aspire to become as kid?
When you’re a child every career seems to be exciting. That is the good thing about being a kid. I remember wanting to be a lot of things, a singer, a vet, an Orchestra conductor, a bus conductor…

Which shows( designers) and commercials have you graced with your presence?
I have worked with most Indian designers and international brands like Dior,
Ferragamo etc.

Your greatest achievement?
Most recently, I became a qualified Scuba Diver.

What do you think of bollywood as a career option?
Bollywood sounds great, not as an actress though.

When not modeling what are you most likely to be found doing?
Relaxing at home with a book.

Your take on modeling industry in India and abroad?
The models here are very comfortable in their own skin. There is little time and energy expended on insecurities and rivalry. It is not the stuff you see on the television. Those are just exaggerated representations. The industry in India has grown in leaps and bounds. Abroad, models make much more money that they do here and that is the biggest difference.
