She will play the role of Camilla, who is an ‘alluring woman’ involved in a steamy affair with their eldest son, and frontrunner to inherit the business, Hakeem.

Co-created and produced by Oscar nominated Lee Daniels, the drama will effectively cater to the highly entertaining genre of hip-hop drama.

With this progress in her career, Cambell steps forward to follow the footsteps of actresses like Halle Berry, Oprah, Gabourey Sidibe and Mo’Nique. Besides, she has also been previously featured in shows like ‘The Cosby Show’, ‘New York Undercover’ and ‘Spike Lee’s Girl 6’.

The second edition of Miss Diva Universe pageant is all set to begin through an engaging platform this time. Revolutionised through a television series, the competition has been put down into a 9 episode primetime TV series to be aired on the channel Zee Café.
