This over the top and perfectionist designer is a fashion graduate from the London College of Fashion. She has pursued multiple deigning courses from some of the elite universities of the world like Parsons, New York and Paris, and Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles. This designer duo met in 2005 in Paris. They both graduated from the international school Mod’Art. They found their synonymous label ‘Zhen & Mossi’ in 2013, a brand which is centralised to haute couture and ready to wear range.

Their early years include an experience enhancing apprenticeship with Giorgio Armani, Franck Sorbier and Opera. They focus on creating timeless fashion and concentrate entirely on the latest trends, art, craft and the world around them, for their garments.

Speaking of their several experiences in the fashion world, they presented their collection ‘Poetry of a Tear’ in the Hall Charles V, the Carrousel du Louvere in Paris. Also, they were among the finalist contestants for Young Fashion designers, Moda Domani at the Palais Brongniart in Paris.

They made their entry in India by making a debut entry at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2014.

A graduate from the International Institute of Fashion Designing, Vilvin believes in juxtaposing simplicity and decoration. Following her graduation, she pursued a degree in fashion technology from the prestigious London College of Fashion. She draws great amount of inspiration from the Kaleidoscope of Indian arts and culture and makes generative effort to bring that down on her creations.

During her early professional years, she worked as assistant director on a movie project. Also, her graduate collection was being awarded the Bernet Lawson Trimmings Award for the best embellishments. Her label ‘Vilvin’ made a grand debut in the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2014.

Her collection titled ‘Tropical Chic’ was influenced by Vilvin’s deep love for diversified cultures and travel. Employing multiple dying techniques and intricate embroideries, Vilvin showcased her fondness for detailing, silhouette enhancing and exuberant colour combining.

This extremely talented designer is a graduate from NIFT, New Delhi where her collection was awarded as the ‘Best Practical Graduate Collection’. She then moved to New York and pursued her further studies from the Parson School of design. She draws great inspiration from architecture and loves to experiment with geometrical shapes and launched her eponymous label ‘URVASHI JONEJA’ in 2012.

Her early years in the fashion industry include an experience enhancing training under ace designer Rajesh Pratap Singh, followed by the four years of corporate experience. Furthermore, she got the privilege to work under Abha Dalmia which further reiterated her skills as a designer. Also, she has been associated with luxury brands like Diesel, Timberland, Amy Butler, Ralph Lauren and Versace.

She marked the milestone of her career by her debut in the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2014 and earned huge appreciation for her feisty collection.

Currently, she works as an independent designer in Mumbai.

The Kashmiri designer conceptualised his label ‘Sawagger by Saj’ in 2011. He pursued his graduation and post-graduation in Fashion and International Business from the Kingston University. The designer feels passionate for painting, crafts and textiles and loves experimenting with metallic materials and patterns and creatively gets them down in his creations.

His earlier days in the fashion industry include his working with fine luxury brands like Vivienne Westwood, Diesel Black Gold and Martin Maison Margiela. He also got the privilege of being featured in the highly acclaimed fashion magazine, Grazia. Besides, Sajid draws great amount inspiration and the urge of freedom, from the late singer and artist Amy Winehouse and displays the same through his creations.

This self-styled designer has been mesmerising the fashion world with her exquisite pieces of lingerie and sleep wear in India. Having been in the industry for more than two decades, Suman has outshone her confidence by bringing forth the culture of these glamorous and exposing collections in the country.

Among the milestones of her life, she was the first ever designer to showcase her inner-wear collection at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, 2006. Besides, she has been an active participant in Bridal Asia since 1990. Also, she is a renowned preliminary member of the Fashion Design Council of India.

Her experiences in the fashion industry include the wardrobes designed for Bollywood stars like John Abraham, Celina Jately, Koena Maitra, Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif among others. This aspiring designer is an alumnus of the prestigious INIFD, Kolkata and won the best designer award in 2006. Thereafter he achieved a grandeur scholarship after winning the best collection award from Cavandish College, London.

He then went on to launch his lavish label ‘SS SURYA’ in 2008 and has been filling the fashion world with his exquisite designs since then. Some of his achievements include his being titled as the Rising stars of 2013 in fashion by the highly acclaimed Atelier Magazine.
Speaking of his experiences, he has been opportune to invent beautiful creations for Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Mughda Godse, Riya Sen, Vishal Bharadwaj, Shilpa Sukhla and Nargis Fakhri to name a few.

Graduates from NIFT, Bangalore, Shyma and Pranav believe in value for money and detailing along with the ‘comfort’ factor as their utmost priority for their garments. Their label ‘HUEMN’ comprises of easy to wear collections for both men and women and is an effective amalgamation of International fashion and traditional tribal embroidery.

Among the designers’ earlier achievements, Pranav got featured in Grazia India’s ‘The Cool List 2013’ and the duo got featured in the November 2013 issue of the German Magazine. Also, Huemn won the ‘Best Luxe Daywear’ award for Elle India Style Awards 2013.

She received her formal education in designing from the prestigious London College of Fashion followed by a one year course from SNDT Mumbai. Thereafter, Shehla pursued her masters in styling from Instituto Marangoni in Milan. The designer’s early experiences include her working under Manish Malhotra.

His label ‘SAYANTAN SARKAR’ is replete of unisex creations which include lehengas, sarees, salwar-Suits, tunics, floor-Skimming gowns and cocktail dresses for women, and jackets, sherwanis and bandhgalas for men.

His earlier experiences include his earning major style points from the International Press for his wardrobe design for actor Paoli at the 64^th Cannes Film Festival in 2011. Thereafter, Sayantan’s designs were chosen by the crème de la crème of Bollywood like Zeenat Aman, Mahima Chaudhary, Raima Sen and Sayal Bhagat to quote a few.

He has made innumerable public appearances and participations in his professional career, namely, Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2013, Summer Resort 2013 and 2014, Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week Summer Shower 2013, India International Jewellery Week (since 2010), Telegraph Marriage and Vogue (since 2009), Kolkata Fashion Week 2008 and 2009.
