One of NYFW’s busiest days, starting from Caroline Herrera who moved away from the official NYFW venues to showcase her elegant looks at one of the most beautiful museums in New York.

While fashionistas ran from Jeremy Scott whacky looks to Proenza Schouler before hopping between 3.1 Phillip Lim, Oscar de la Renta and DKNY. We saw whimsical prints in plenty, but a fair share of classic ones too, like gingham, polka dots and stripes.

Rag & Bone showcased a coed show basically combining women’s and men’s into one show.

Bambi 2010 - Arrivals

For the Métiers d’art collections, Karl Lagerfeld choses each year a location linked to Mademoiselle Chanel’s history, who lived at the Ritz Paris for many years, and proposes a collection that highlights the métiers d’art and celebrates the virtuosity of the ateliers and their craftsmanship.

This time around CHANEL will present its next Métiers d’art collection on December 6th 2016 at the Ritz Paris, a few months after the reopening of the Parisian palace.

The opening day at New York Fashion Week, had models at Desigual SS17 show, made up as popular Snapchat filters like the dog nose, flower crown, and deer, or a no makeup makeup look.

MAC’s makeup artiste Gordon Espinet described the look simply: “No filter,” while Prep + Prime Fix + was used all over the face to “hydrate and replenish,” he said.

Taking inspiration from the spirit of travel and the carefree essence of summer, the DESIGUAL woman is truly an individual. Confident in herself, she wears her hair in her own unique style. Lived in and textured, it’s still romantic and luxurious.

It’s a new era at Tommy Hilfiger. Breaking the old-school rules of the runway and giving instant access to Fall 2016 Hilfiger Collection and the new TOMMYXGIGI capsule with their greatest hits, remixed and restyled for the digital age and shoppable the moment the lights go up.

There were classic codes of 30-year arsenal––nautical, sport, rock-n-roll, Americana, giving everything a modern day swagger. They played with proportions and fabrics, making signature details pop. It’s nautical meets street; inspired by Gigi Hadid and designed to be worn as you like it.

This is the show I’ve always wanted to present said Hilfiger, A true democratization of fashion––this is #TommyNow.

The “DiorUmbrage” sunglasses from the Winter 2016-2017 catwalk show have their lenses lightly tinted feature distinctive print in innovative pink, green, orange and blue mirror lenses with a foliage motif.

Developed exclusively for Dior, they demonstrate cutting-edge craftsmanship. The retro-futuristic round front is a juxtaposition of Havana acetate, while the metal temples are adorned with sophisticated details.
