Dakota Johnson wore a Gucci black silk georgette gown featuring a green lace neckline, multicolored lace and crystal star details and black velvet belt with a pair of black satin platform high heels .

Jared Leto wore a custom Gucci white satin peak lapel tailcoat with white pique cotton gillet, white evening shirt, white bowtie, and black patent leather lace up shoes. He completed his look with a hand carved black lacquer cane with silver and crystal embellished cat head detail.

Charlotte Casiraghi wore a Gucci yellow silk pleated chiffon long sleeve gown with multi-colored tiers featuring a pale rose silk flower and grosgrain bow detail with a pair of purple metallic leather platform high heels and pink satin evening clutch with cat head closure.

430 2This year, theme for Costume Institute ball was centered around “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,” gave us metallic accents with slick hairstyles in celebrity dress ups.

Exploring the relationship between clothes created by hand (or “manus”) versus the machines, the lady of the evening Anna Wintour along with her daughter Bee Shaffer played it safe in Chanel and Alexander McQueen gown.

Anna was heavy on the fringe in an off-white piece from Chanel’s Spring 2016 Couture line.While Bee’s gorgeous black Alexander McQueen gown was embellished with symmetrical blossoms of various colors.

Kanye West wore a loosefitting metallic jacket and a pair of colored contact lenses that turned his eyes a kind of iridescent blue. His wife, Kim Kardashian West, wore metallic, beaded Balmain.

Sarah Jessica Parker wore 18th-century-inspired men’s wear And Madonna had on a black lace Givenchy dress by Riccardo Tisci. The model Alessandra Ambrosio wore another metallic Balmain whereas Madonna chooses to wear Riccardo Tisci.

Beyoncé wears an embellished latex dress by Givenchy, designed by Riccardo Tisci. Gaga showed up slightly vintage in a Versace jacket as Katy Perry stepped out in an embellished Prada gown.

430Synonymous to sophistication and classic elegance, Ashish Soni launched his Concept Store in the capital, while announcing his association with Czech-based luxury lighting & glassware brand Sans Souci.

Spanning 1800 square feet, the store draws to the core philosophy of Ashish N Soni – a balance of minimalism and luxury. With a focus on menswear, more specifically bespoke and tailored menswear, the idea behind the Concept Store is to reinvent the retail experience into a customer’s private funhouse.

In attendance were brand patrons and the designer’s friends from the fashion fraternity which includes FDCI President – Sunil Sethi, AD Singh, Samir Suhaag, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Rahul Dev looked dapper in their Ashish N Soni ensembles. “For a long time, people with disabilities were trapped into buying clothes that didn’t really work for them feels FDCI President, Mr. Sethi, starting to recognize this is an underserved market, he under the aegis of FDCI, gave the differently-abled an opportunity to explore fashion as they took the catwalk by storm in designer ensembles.

Illustrious FDCI designers including Abraham & Thakore, Anju Modi, Gaurav Jai Gupta, JJ Valaya, Payal Jain, Rahul Mishra, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Rina Dhaka, Rohit Bal, Samant Chauhan, showcased their eclectic designs executed in Khadi for Tamana an NGO.

Present at the event was the guest of honour, the Australian High Commissioner to India, Her Excellency Ms. Harinder Sidhu in a stunning Abraham & Thakore ensemble as she walked the ramp. The evening also saw Tamana dressed in a Samant Chauhan outfit which wrapped up the event as she expressed her gratitude to the distinguished audience at the show.
