Everybody likes wearing Rohit Bal, JJ Valaya, Abraham & Thakore, Rahul Mishra or to the likes of Anju Modi but as a person with a disability, there aren’t many clothes that took the needs of people using wheelchairs into account.
“For a long time, people with disabilities were trapped into buying clothes that didn’t really work for them feels FDCI President, Mr. Sethi, starting to recognize this is an underserved market, he under the aegis of FDCI, gave the differently-abled an opportunity to explore fashion as they took the catwalk by storm in designer ensembles.
Illustrious FDCI designers including Abraham & Thakore, Anju Modi, Gaurav Jai Gupta, JJ Valaya, Payal Jain, Rahul Mishra, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Rina Dhaka, Rohit Bal, Samant Chauhan, showcased their eclectic designs executed in Khadi for Tamana an NGO.
Present at the event was the guest of honour, the Australian High Commissioner to India, Her Excellency Ms. Harinder Sidhu in a stunning Abraham & Thakore ensemble as she walked the ramp. The evening also saw Tamana dressed in a Samant Chauhan outfit which wrapped up the event as she expressed her gratitude to the distinguished audience at the show.
