Fendi new Orchidea Sunglasses campaign features the British singer and songwriter Chlöe Howl in a very special video “Bad Dream” the whimsical video takes the name from her forthcoming album.

Paired with her frank lyrics and rhythmic electro beats, this unique video is a dreamlike portrayal of the ultimate car journey in time mirrored against Chlöe’s Fendi Orchidea Sunglasses. Upon wearing them, a fantasy like atmosphere becomes almost reality against the beautiful luminescent and sometimes surreal landscape backdrops.

In Seoul, South Korea, Karl Lagerfeld invited guests to the DDP (the Dongdaemun Design Plaza) to present the Chanel 2015/16 Cruise collection. In the heart of this futurist space created by architect Zaha Hadid, the designer unveils a collection of structured, avant-gardist silhouette reinterpreting Asian sophistication with a resolutely contemporary spirit. It was an explosion of bright colours, fuchsia pink, coral and intense orange, violet, celadon and mint green, turquoise and royal blue melted into woven tweeds and textured cotton but also into lighter and diaphanous fabrics such as shantung – a type of raw silk so dear to Mademoiselle Chanel – linen, organza, tulle and lace. Ethereal and geometric patchworks as well as multi-coloured stripes combined with delicate floral and geometric marquetry-style embroideries.

Drawing inspiration from the traditional dress of the Korean peninsula, the hanbok, Karl Lagerfeld imagines jackets with large sleeves and rounded shoulders. Their collars, flat, folded or notched, disappear as if by magic revealing the neck and sketching out a new look. The trousers are cut wide and short or tightened at the hem, while skirts are pencil or straight cut just below the knee. For evening, dresses with very high waistlines are light and voluminous. The strapless dresses introduce a new nocturnal elegance and are emphasized by a broad stroke in velvet or grosgrain.

In a beautiful evening, luxury Swiss watches manufacturer Audemars Piguet celebrated the launch of their new Royal Oak Chronograph Limited Edition watches with a glamorous party at Cinema Manzoni, Milan.

Vice-chairman of board of directors, Olivier Audemars presented to the guests the new Royal Oak Chronograph Limited Edition which pays tribute to Milan and to Italy. The evening saw amazing live performances and the music played by French DJ Dimitri.

Guests present at the party were Franco Ziviani, Audemars Piguet Ital, Massimo Baggi, Joe Bastianich, Christian Vieri, Gianluca Vacchi, Giuliano Razzoli and Valeria Marini to name a few.

Coinciding with Expo Milano 2015, Italian men’s wear brand Ermenegildo Zegna hosted Fabulae Naturae, an eco-friendly project for its contemporary art platform ZegnArt at its headquarter in Milan.

Artist Lucy and Jorge Orta transformed the brand’s Milan headquarter into a forest, reminiscent of Oasi Zegna, the protected park in Trivero, Italy. Curated by Maria Luisa Frisa, the project included visual, audio and musical elements, accompanied by a food performance by Michelin star-awarded chef Davide Oldani.

The floral patterns used were taken from the Heberlein Archive, a vast textile collection of more than 2,200 volumes that the group acquired in 2011. The project also showcased a limited edition of 500 plates in Royal Limoges porcelain personalized by Lucy + Jorge Orta.

Marking the grand opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibition, this year’s fundraising Met gala celebrated the theme of “China: Through the Looking Glass”.

Along with Anna Wintour, the event was co-hosted by actresses Jennifer Lawrence and Gong Li; Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer and executive Wendi Murdoch.

In addition to all the top designers, the list of guests included Anne Hathaway; Claire Danes; Colin Firth; Bradley Cooper; Jessica Chastain; Spike Jonze; Julianne Moore; Sarah Jessica Parker; Rita Ora; Reese Witherspoon; Neil Patrick Harris; Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to name a few.

Celebrities like Diane Kruger, Dakota Johnson, Rachel Weisz, Anna Wintour and Lily Collins arrived in Chanel, while Tang Wei, Chen Kun, Naomi Campbell, Mario Testino, Jourdan Dunn were seen in Burberry outfits.
Georgia May Jagger and John Legend walked the red carpet in Gucci. Actress Anne Hathaway and Joseph Altuzarra were seen in Ralph Lauren.

Kangana Ranaut carried a Gucci Women’s Fall Winter 2014 Jackie Soft medium top handle bag in classic camel leather with piston closure .

Abhishek Kapoor and Pragya Yadav chose custom made Varun Bahl outfits for their big day. The Ace couturier and a very close friend , Varun personally designed an elegant ecru colour wedding lehenga with a red dupatta and with intricate embroidery from his French Floral Collection for the bride. He designed a simple and classic bundit with kurta all in beige for the groom
