Calvin Klein’s Fall 2013 global advertising campaign is produced by Fabien Baron of Baron + Baron featuring models Matthew Terry and Vanessa Axente  is shot by renowned photographers, Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott  in New York City.

The ck Calvin Klein ad campaign shot by photographer Steven Klein features models Liu Wen, Ji Hye Park and Caroline Brasch Nielsen, alongside male models Matthijs Meel and Sung Jin Park at Yale University’s Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library in New Haven, Connecticut.

While Calvin Klein Jean’s ad campaign shots by Tyrone Lebon features members of the American alternative rock band Warpaint and models Tilda Landstrom, Louise Parker, Matthijs Meel, Sung Jin Park and Mikkel Jensen, highlighting the new rocker kick jean with a mix of sportswear, footwear and accessories from Calvin Klein Jeans.

Known as the princess of “bohemian luxe”, Monisha is a keen observer of life as she draws inspiration for her designs. She studied fashion design at The American College for Applied Arts and then The Royal College of Arts.

Her label ‘Monisha Jaising’ started in 1990, is marked by beautifully cut garments that are highlighted by exquisitely drawn prints and embroidery following a color palette such as frosted orange, pale blue, grey, wine, beige, turquoise and white, meant for the young and sexy modern woman. Wool embroidery, silver work, velvet appliqué, foil printing and metallic hand embroidery forms the embellishment along with Swarovski stones, shells and pearls are the specification of her design. Her signature store is at Bandra West, Mumbai.

She has been showcasing her collections at India Fashion Week, Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week, PCJ Delhi Couture Week and Lakme India Fashion Week. Her designs have been graced by celebrities like Bipasha Basu, Malaika Arora Khan and Anushka Sharma amongst many others.

She retails from Ensemble in Mumbai and Delhi, Voyage in London, Aesthetics in Dubai, New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Denmark, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Manish Arora will be showcasing his first Indian collection at Delhi Couture Week 2013 on August 3rd.

The collection is an infallible blend of varied juxtaposing stories fused together with Manish’s vision of experiments in contemporary art and fashion. Taking a wide inspiration from the architecture and the details of the Buddhist temples, Manish’s bridal range will weave it into an affair to remember for the Bride.

The collection has a series of digital prints with a combination of detailed baroque prints and ornate embellishments, the textures are hand-embroidered with the use of enameled stones, metals and crystals. The cynosure colour gold, is employed as a bold accent on the vitamin colored backgrounds of the textiles. Pure fabrics have been used extensively along with, silk crepes, georgette, chiffon and hand woven silk brocade from Varanasi.

Sarah Jane Dias & Swara Bhaskar inaugurated the first flagship store of Zanaãya Couture by Designer Shouger Merchant Doshi at Kemps Corner, Mumbai.

Well designed 650 sq ft store showcased exquisite ensembles from Zanaaya Couture by models, adding glitz & glamour to the evening affair.

The glamour packed event saw an eclectic mix of celebs and socialites like Jackie Shroff, Nisha Jamwal,Malini Agarwal, Shaan Khanna, Indu Shahani ,Salome Roy Kapoor,Sabira Merchant and many more.

Fashion designer Krishna Mehta will bring the ethereal Manipuri craft to life at Lakmé Fashion week Winter/Festive 2013 in Mumbai.

The show promises to be an amalgamation of the intricate traditional Manipuri handcraft with Krishna’s classic designs. It will be distinctive fusion line with the current design trends especially crafted by weavers under Krishna’s expert guidance over several months. She is the first designer to use Manipur Handloom so comprehensively for a show.

Belonging to a family of goldsmiths, Laksh is an innovative and contemporary jewellery designer since 1988 after realizing his potential to be a designer from a manufacturer. He underwent thorough training in Jewellery Designing from the Gemological Institute of America after completing graduation.

His label ‘Pristine Jewels’ is known for its distinctive and unique pieces in 18kt and 14kt gold mounting, gold, diamond and silver jewellery.

He has been showcasing his collections at IIJW and has won many accolades like Solitaire Award at IIJS 2003, International Platinum Jewellery Award, Swarnanjali Award in 1996 and Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council Award in 1992 and has an aim to further enrich his art of designing exclusive pieces and vision to be known as a world-class distinguished jewellery designer.

His designs are available at his signature store in Mumbai and in Middle East Europe & USA.

Kotwara by Meera and Muzaffar Ali will bring alive the grandeur of ‘The Pearl of the Orient’, with their latest bridal collection at the India Fashion Bridal Week 2013.

The collection presents a range of exotic bridal wear gently textured with pearls on chiffons blended with velvets. The brocades embellished with zardozi and chikan techniques creating an intriguing collage of textures in palate ranging from soft pastels to vibrant hues are reminiscent of the glory of Awadh in inimitable classic Kotwara style.

The jewellery especially crafted by the designer Neety Singh, draws inspiration from an amalgam of urban and classical characteristics, which range from bold and bohemian.
