The key here is not adding colour but how well can you pull the colours off. Here is how I jazzed up my simple looking skirt and top with jewellery and a box clutch and nail paint.

The innovation being talked about comes to life in the form of N12 bikinis – the comfortable, wearable and trendy range made by three dimensional printing without any kind of sewing. The bikinis are made out of flexible waterproof material Nylon 12 by the printing process in which laser melts plastic together layer by layer with exact precision.
The aesthetically done yet functional range is designed by Jenna Fizel and Mary Huang of Continuum Fashion, and further developed by Shapeways. The innovation is most likely to open the doors for future experimentation in the field of fashion. And it’s no wonder if we soon get to see three dimensionally printed and structured dresses flooding the high streets.
With garments in sheer fluid fabrics the show opened with metal necklace and golden scrolls engraved with detailing and long thread tassels touching the waists of the models followed by solid round necklaces, pendants, trellises.
Thin multi necklaces had Japanese motifs, while the Helmet like pendants and the sharp geometric designs added to the beauty of the collection. Brooches were worn on different parts of the garments and as hair ornaments.
The orchids which cascaded down from the circles and emerald strings with pendants were a serene offering of beauty. Bursts of flowers which appeared in linear form were at times embellished with black pearls. Streamers of leaves flowed down the garments to the waist and the final entry of delicate long streams of foliage was the ultimate statement piece.
The larger than life jewellery shows rolling out some scintillating designs ruled the day with rest taking backseat. The day was opened by designer Zeenat Desai who showcased a dark yet whimsical, avant-garde Mughal-inspired jewelry. The collection with its ‘East meets West’ sensibility brought the jewels of India’s Golden era for a new generation of women.
Following the suit was the jewellery label YS18 which offered a range of jewellery in 18k White, Rose and Yellow Gold Studded with brilliant white diamonds and Natural Fancy Colour Diamonds along with exotic precious gemstones. And what followed next turned out to the highlight of the day with many young talents like Madhura Bhogle, Shaira Mirchandani, Hasmeet Chawla and Nandita Agarwal showing for International Gemological Institute.
As the day passed by the designers like Laksh Pahuja and Anand Shah enthralled the viewers with their exquisite creations. Laksh’s designs included pieces in plain gold, cubic zirconia diamonds, and other studded creations whereas Anand Shah played with gold and semi-precious stones.
Later by the end of the day, Kay Jewels showcased a collection featuring intricately crafted diamond neckpieces, diamond bangles and rings.
The model for her first ever fashion line has joined forces with high-street retailer C&A to come up with a 31-piece Cindy Crawford Collection @ C&A featuring leather jackets, cardigans, shirts, knits and jeans.
The collection made of blended wool and leather with details like fake fur collars, belt looks and zips is a reflection of Cindy’s personal style. The collection is moderately priced between 10 to 115 pounds, and will be available throughout Europe this autumn.

The mind games are on this season with the label dishing out a seduction tinted fashion law, ‘Not to show too much, just enough to set his head spinning’ through its latest offering “Pops of Flesh” – the Autumn Winter 2012 sub-range exposing just the right amount with pops of skin on the foot.
The towering stilettoes stand tall in their shimmering pointy-toes leopard-print seductively-cut glory. The Love Me in 45 mm and 120mm focus on the toe cleavage, which is revealed by the mesh extension top contrasted with a ladylike satin bow. While the Indies 100mm and the Miralep 140mm feature skin divulging paneling throughout the design to give the wearer a dressed yet undressed appeal.
