Floral romance of Anupamaa Dayal has been allegorized through ‘Phool Bagaan’ – an ethereal yet earthy, pure yet sexy and endlessly wearable collection that she is going to exhibit at WIFW SS’12.

Narrating her love affair with flowers, the collection assures an idyll scene with peonies, roses, magnolias and champas graced by brilliant butterflies exuding exuberance and freedom.

Anupamaa states that the collection is meant for a sensitive earth lover whose thirst for the beauty and timelessness of fashion transcends ‘trendy’. Intense sherbet shades of Jamun, Dalchinni, Gulabi, Pherozi, Panna and Lal for the color palette whereas fabrics being used are Chanderi, Taant (Bangal Handloom), Light Silks, Pashmina, Dupion and Twill.

For this Spring Summer’12 of WIFW, the siren sisters came up to be an inspiration for the designer duo Ankur and Priyanka Modi. The poem the last siren with its enchanted framing has appealed AM: PM to demonstrate a collection based on the most sensuous and perilous seductresses of the origin, the siren sisters.

The collection is a presentation of the doldrums of the femmes. Baffling satins, silken chiffons and slick jersey harmonized with silver grey shade and flashy champagne tan along with toxic tones of blues and sizzling reds which signifies anonymity and ecstasy, executed in the duos creation.

Sequined embroidery and obstinate textures are very well displayed on the garments. The wardrobe compiles of haughty shifts, shirts, jumpsuits and dresses.

Niket and Jainee is planning to capture the mind of everyone and transfer it to the state of elation where the angels reside at the upcoming Wills India Fashion Week.

Angels signify white so is Niket and Jainee’s lineup. Metallic shades along with hint of light brown augments the wavy look of the outfits. The cuts drawing an undulating and flowing gesture provides a beatific, illusionary and mesmerizing look to the garments.  Fabrics crushed silk, shimmer net; georgette having detailing of doris, beds, crystals is employed to substantiate the bizarre premise of the duo.

A varying collection of tunic, long dresses, capes, triangular kaftans and paneled anarkalis compiles the duos assemble. Kaftans and the panel cuts add more drama to the unusual look. A wide variety of materials are used in the garments.  The outfits are inflated with abstract designs containing hues of golden, silver and light brown. Solid based shades which signify purity and transparency amalgamated with various stitching patterns.

The surface orientations applied in the tunics, long dresses and kaftans act as a boast to the apparel.

The vivacious and colorful trucks’ moving around on the streets of Pakistan drives Preeti S Kapoor to showcase a collection based on the truck art for WIFW. The collection spells an allegory of tribal iconography and vox-populi technique along with pop art.

The Pakistani truck drivers imply all possible art to make their truck give a kaleidoscopic look. This presentation of art on the wheels presents an essence of 1920 before the nations got separated. Preeti tries to implement the same art form in her garments by using beautiful, audacious and dramatic digital prints inflated with wide range of essentials. Mirror, crystal and stones are used for edging. Georgettes and chiffons are gracefully accentuated with extensive use of chutzpah. The garments carry appliqué on neck lines, pulsating thread embroidery and elements of metal sequins representing the tribal culture engraved unevenly.

Her spring summer attires depict ecstasy. The collecting very elegantly transmutes the loud funky truck ornamentation onto western silhouette. Indian block prints along with multihued embroidery and other embellishments provide a more explicit look to her colorful compilation.

By her free flowing kaftans in vigorous digital prints and usage of delicate embellishments Preeti S tries to illustrate a fancy beach wear and make everyone travel the highway in the sparkling truck engraved with beautiful motifs which directly leads to the beaches of Bahamas through her collection.

Valley of Flower has come out to be the inspiration for Manish Gupta’s much awaited Spring Summer’12 collection for WIFW. The theme signifies playful hues, crafts, grace and art.

Weaves blended with bizarre embellishment accentuating the craftsmanship indicates the designers signature style in his new launch.  Fusions of separate attires portraying perfect detailing blended with neat lines signify Manish’s couture.  A presentation of mutiny of hues unified with the texture illustrating laces, beads, silk threads, buttons, tapes and assorted yarns contribute to the collection.

Lively and vivacious colors are plotted like a vortex of ivory defining the elegance and splendor of flora. Tint of Yellow, orange, turquoise, lime, mauve, raspberry, coral, lilac and pink add more glow to his collection.
