One of the most recognized names in the industry, Hilton Hotels & Resorts stands as the stylish, forward thinking global leader in hospitality. Hilton is where the world makes history and one of it being Hilton, New Delhi – Noida – Mayur Vihar, located just off the DND Flyway and five kilometers from the commercial hub in Noida, it is on the receiving end of more attention than we ever thought.

Serving as a coffee shop too, Infinity offers a unique dinner experience that is a confluence of four distinct cuisines from four different countries. Known more as an Italian specialty restaurant though i would call it as fine http://varunkaushik.com/userfiles/nightOut/http://varunkaushik.com/userfiles/nightOut/dining/dining/http://varunkaushik.com/userfiles/nightOut/dining/dining restaurant,it also has the most extravagant and delectable buffet spread prepared by Sous Chef Girish Chander and his team.

We started with Sudden Impact (a must have for every alcoholic) which is actually a mixture of tequila, grand marnier, sambuca and tiamaria. Infinity summer salad was equally refreshing with lettuce and grilled artichokes, mascarpone and parsley. Continuing on to a very well made Pizza Gardiniera that had zucchini, mushrooms all over, we got to try few bites of Pizza Bomba (Italian Salami) & Pizza Nettuna(assorted sea food) one of their hot selling Pizzas. I think they need to be more generous in assorted sea food. The Rigatoni tossed with garlic, sundried tomatoes, goat cheese & fresh basil was unsurprising though Tuscan lamb shank slow cooked New Zealand lamb with root veg. was just perfect and very satisfying.

Chef Girish took us through their lavish buffet spread which had poached fish, grilled tenderloin steak with red wine, lamb with cherry tomato basil… furthermore; I feel their veg menu needs to be as lavish as the one for non-vegetarians. Why vegetarians are always compromised??
A must visit family restaurant which offers a very relaxed atmosphere and good service.

MAC’s Tired Sexy LookThe ex-editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, Carine Roitfeld, known for her brazen statements and outlandish approach toward fashion has come up with her new MAC collection creating, as she says, the tired sexy look.

A former fashion model and writer whose soon-to-be-launched magazine CR Fashion-Book vouches for a heavy dose of decadence with a lot of cigarettes and naked girls, brings her signature goth element with layers of classicism alive in this collection.

The line is comprised of two full face kits with colors ranging from soft biscuit tones to darker browns. The dark hues of the range come along with a bright tone called ‘Underfire Red’ in the form of a nail lacquer. The highlight of this range is a set of star stencils for picking the stars of your choice.

The collection will be available in MAC stores from September 6, 2012.
